Rising cost of college

I just read an article on http://www.freakonomics.com/blog/ about the rising cost of college tuition.  This has become a familiar subject to me, having had a husband who endured climbing tuition costs and now myself.

I see this as being problematic.  We are seeing increasing cost in education, but are we seeing increasing value.  With empoloyment rates suffering and more college options available than ever I am dissappointed that costs continue to rise but results remain unsatisfactory.
